In one of those health and nutrition stories that make you think when are they going to tell us to start smoking because its beneficial, Chocoholics around the world can quite literally take heart from research that shows chocolate can help you live longer.According to US research, people who eat chocolate and sweets up to three times a month live almost a year longer than those who eat too much or those who avoid the stuff altogether.Scientists from the Harvard School of Public Health studied almost 8,000 American men aged 65 for a five-year period. The results were adjusted for other risk factors, including smoking.

Britain now imports more wine than any other country on the planet. We imported a grand total of 1.6 billion bottles in 2007, equating to thirty five standard bottles for every adult in the country which is absolutely staggering figure. The Government is considering the introduction of Kitchen Caddies so that households are more aware of recycling their food waste. People have used wine in medicine ever since it was first invented. Documents have been found over the years that suggest people once thought wine could cure stomach ulcers, stop cancer spreading and even reverse the effects of aging.Sadly, its more often the case that wine (and alcohol in general) contributes more to the cause of health problems than the cure. I don’t like to point it out to the curry fanatics out there but most of the curry in England is no where near as good as that from India itself. In actual fact, most of the curry dishes and Indian food over in the UK is not even India!
